Pakistan flag has significance behind its colour and symbols?
Here are some interesting facts about our national flag:
1. The National flag of Pakistan is a rectangle shape.
2. It is divided into two colours green and white with symbols crescent and a star.
3. Each colour and symbol used in this flag has its own particular importance.
4. The dark green colour represents the Muslim majority and the white colour represent the minorities majority.
5. However, the crescent on this flag is representative of progress and the five-rayed star signifies light and knowledge.
6. Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan presented the national flag in the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on 11th -August-1947.
7. Pakistan’s National flag was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai.
8. Pakistan’s first National flag was stitched by Master Altaf Hussain on the request of Quaid-e-Azam in June-1947.
